1,741 Errors In Books Worth Rs 175 Crore: Odisha’s Textbook Tally

The Odisha government on Friday (September 25) said that 1,741 mistakes were found in textbooks for Classes 1 to 8, which were printed and published at a cost of Rs 175 crore. In a written response to a question from Congress MLA Sofia Firdous, State School and Mass Education Minister Nityanand Gond apprised that 1,075 grammatical, typographical, and spelling errors, along with five factual and conceptual errors, were detected across various school textbooks.
