Visitors could celebrate this year’s Halloween with a special, scary experience without having to travel far. Situated just a roughly 50-minute drive from Manchester, Liverpool’s Newsham Scream Park is hosting its special spooky event for visitors this October.

Newsham Scream Park offers visitors a truly terrifying experience, complete with a live-action horror maze, dedicated ‘scare zones’, and interactive theatrical performances by professional scare actors. Based on the real-life Victorian-era Newsham Park Hospital, visitors will also be treated to a variety of special effects, lighting, and ‘state-of-the-art’ sound to enhance their spooky visit.
Better yet, the venue is easily accessible at Orphan Drive, Liverpool, L6 7UN, with options to attend by train, bus, or foot from Liverpool’s city centre. Currently, the tickets on offer are exclusively for the event on October 3; however, there are a variety of time slot options, all included in the cashback deal, ranging from 6pm, 7.30pm, and 9pm.
If you would rather something a little different, Alton Towers is hosting its own annual Scarefest over the coming weeks. Tickets for the event can be grabbed for as low as £37 per person when booked online.
Otherwise, you could book a visit to the Scare City Experience, with tickets available from £34.95 online. Set at Camelot Theme Park, this early Halloween event promises a wide variety of scary attractions set in an abandoned theme park.
Currently, there are no reviews available for Newsham Scream Park, however, customers should note that tickets are only valid for those aged 14 and over. Furthermore, all under-18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times, which may not be ideal for visitors with younger children.
Furthermore, while access to the area is straightforward, with a variety of transport options available, it is situated in Liverpool, which may be too far to travel for some visitors.
