BRS working president and former Telangana minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) watched Nani-starrer “The Paradise” and praised the film and its team. He watched the movie at a theatre in Hyderabad along with other BRS leaders and party members.
Speaking about the film, KTR said, “Srikanth Odela’s The Paradise is a film about a leader from an oppressed class who fights for their identity. The director has shown very well how a revolt begins when people are suppressed. I congratulate director Odela, my brother Nani and the entire team, and wish them great success.”
The film has also become a talking point for Priyadarshi’s character MLA Shankaranna. The character is seen as resembling K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), Telangana’s first Chief Minister and a prominent leader of the Telangana statehood movement.
When KTR was asked about the inspiration behind Shankaranna, he said there was no need to specify who the character was inspired by, as it was obvious to everyone.
