Ghost’s newest fragrance is reduced is now less than £20 in a new sale with shoppers praising the ‘quality’ scent

Ghost perfumes are a Christmas staple for many, with the brand’s beloved scents and iconic crescent moon bottles a festive favourite for gifts. The newest Ghost fragrance, Lunar Goddess, launched this year and has just been reduced by Amazon to its lowest ever price, inspiring hundreds of shoppers to snap up the favourite while it’s discounted by nearly 40%.
The Ghost Lunar Goddess Eau de Parfum Spray (30ml) is currently available from Amazon for £19.20, down from £30, saving shoppers 36% on their purchase. The perfume, which is listed as an Amazon’s Choice product and has an average overall rating of 4.7 out of five stars, has been bought more than 400 times in the past month from the site – and for good reason.
The listing says it ‘captures that warmth on the skin, creating a luminous, radiant glow, that lasts long after the day ends’, and it is presented in a pink crescent moon-shaped bottle. The scent includes notes of amber cream, fluffy musk cloud, bourbon vanilla, pink pear and mandarin, and it is vegan and cruelty-free. What’s more, the fragrance is refillable, so shoppers can enjoy the scent sustainably. It could make a perfect gift for a loved one, or a fresh upgrade to someone’s fragrance collection.
Perfumes are a popular choice for Christmas gifts, while a change of season often inspires many of us to change our signature scent. Another perfume that mixes floral and fruity notes, is the DKNY Women Eau de Toilette, which currently costs £35 for 100ml at Boots. This fragrance combines ‘succulent blood orange, chilled vodka and vine-ripe tomato’ with a ‘dewy floral accord’.
Elsewhere, for a statement bottle that would liven up any beauty cabinet, Superdrug has the Cosmic Kylie Jenner Intense Eau de Parfum (30ml) for £29.60, reduced from £37. With opening notes of jasmine and blood orange, a heart of golden amber and a vanilla and musk base, this fragrance is housed in a sculptural red bottle.

The Ghost Lunar Goddess Eau de Parfum Spray has been rated highly by Amazon shoppers, however. One customer wrote: “First day wearing this scent and, I have to say, I love it. I put it on at 7:30am and by 3:20pm you can still smell it. It doesn’t fade quickly, it actually lasts and I’ve had multiple compliments from colleagues today on how nice I smell. Quality of the scent is brilliant.
“The smell itself is quite floral with hints of fruitiness. Great value for money and would definitely make a great gift for any female ages 25+ in my opinion.”
Another shopper described it as ‘a great scent at an affordable price,’ adding: “I really like this new addition to the Ghost range of scents. I have always liked the Ghost range as they are great quality, both in terms of the actual fragrance and the packaging and presentation, but they are very affordable.
“This is quite a light scent, slightly sweet and floral but subtle and suited to either day or night wear, and the scent lasts really well, too. As with all the Ghost range, it is beautifully presented and would make an ideal affordable gift.”
A third chimed in: “So my wife usually goes for the deeper night perfumes, but I picked this one up for her as something a bit different and it went down really well. The bottle looks lovely on her dressing table, that crescent moon shape, and the scent is softer than what she normally wears but still lasts well through the day. She’s been reaching for it a lot since we got it and says it’s grown on her more than she expected. Nice change from her usual and a good one to have as an option alongside the rest of her collection.”
However, while another shopper deemed it ‘nice quality’ and ‘excellent value,’ they added: “My only criticism is that the scent notes could be more accurate and descriptive – I don’t need a marketing department to tell me a scent is fluffy, transparent, or iridescent. I just want to know what it smells like.”
Another noted that they experienced a change in the smell over the day, writing as part of a longer review: “I think this fragrance definitely smells different in different weather conditions – some days it’s a warm, powdery floral and other days it’s a more floral woody. Glad I got to try it, but it’s not my favourite from this brand – but definitely one I may get again if I see it on sale.”
