The Voice Australia came to a thrilling conclusion on Sunday night.
The grand final ended with Northern Territory rapper Yung Milla walking away victorious, leaving his mentor, Spice Girls star Mel C, in tears.
The Darwin-based performer wins a $100,000 cash prize and an all-inclusive artist development and recording package.
The 23-year-old was stunned by his success, and paid tribute to his Indigenous community after his name was called.
‘I just can’t believe it, I’m just so grateful,’ he said.
‘Thank you so much, Mel, you’ve made me stronger as a person, and as an artist,’ he continued.

‘I couldn’t be more proud. I’m doing it for my people.’
Mel, 52, broke down in tears as she shared her thoughts on leading Yung Milla, whose real name is Levi Colin Nichaloff, to victory.
‘I think I’ve run out of words,’ she said, swatting away tears.
‘You’ve affected me, obviously, and everybody who’s been in a room with you, everybody at home.
‘I’m just so proud, and you did this. You did it!’
Yung Milla beat out fellow finalists Tommy Novak, The 60Four and Daisha Auda.
Daisha had an endorsement from Janet Jackson, who personally approved the 15-year-old performing her hit song, Together Again.
There was a starstruck moment for Yung Milla, too, who got to perform alongside Mel for a duet of her 1999 single, Never Be the Same Again.
Mel returned to the stage to sing alongside Kate Miller-Heidke, as a backing vocalist for Kate’s brand new song Butterflies.

Not everyone tuning in at home was happy with the result, however, with several viewers sharing their thoughts on social media.
‘The only person who could not sing, rap, dance, perform or entertain won the Voice Australia,’ complained one person on X.
Another said: ‘It was quite obvious from the judges’ decisions last week. Knew he would win… It was very scripted by the producers.’
‘Daisha has easily the best voice of the finalists. It should be back to back wins for (mentor) Kate (Miller-Heidke),’ posted someone else.
Others were delighted with Yung Milla’s victory, with one fan saying: ‘Well done to Yung Milla. He is an incredible artist and I’m very happy he won.’
One more chimed in: ‘Yesss! Well done Straya, you voted right! This kid is something else.’
