Sir Rod Stewart has announced The Final Encore, his final tour after more than six decades of performing. The 2027 UK and European tour will begin in April at Dublin’s 3Arena and visit major arenas across the UK and Europe, including The O2 in London, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and Uber Arena in Berlin.
The tour will finish in July at ZAG Arena in Hannover, Germany. Howard Jones will support Rod on the UK and Ireland dates, performing hits including What Is Love? and Things Can Only Get Better.
Rod Stewart said: “The time has come to say farewell to life on the road. After more than six decades, The Final Encore will most definitely be my last.
“I’ve been singing the music I love since I was 19 years old, and I’ve had the privilege of taking it around the world to all of you. It has given me a life beyond anything I could ever have imagined, and I hope I’ve given you some fond memories in return.
“I hope you’ll join me so I can thank you the best way I know how… with the music and one hell of a show. See you there.”
The tour will feature many of Rod Stewart’s best-known songs, including Maggie May, You Wear It Well, Tonight’s the Night (Gonna Be Alright), Hot Legs, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?, Young Turks, Baby Jane, Forever Young, You’re in My Heart (The Final Acclaim), Some Guys Have All the Luck, Rhythm of My Heart, The First Cut Is the Deepest, Sailing, and Have I Told You Lately.
The singer has sold more than 250 million records and singles worldwide and has had 31 UK Top 10 singles, including six No. 1s. He has also had 11 UK No. 1 albums and four US No. 1 albums.
He has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice, is a 15-time Grammy nominee and winner, and was named a Grammy Living Legend.
His touring career has included a 13-year, 200-show residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas and a performance at Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach attended by an estimated 3.5 million people.

Fan club presale tickets will be available from Tuesday, September 29, followed by local presales in each market. Any remaining tickets will go on general sale from Friday, October 2.
