A few first look photos have been revealed today that showcase Rachel Weisz back in the role of Evelyn Carnahan, in a beautiful costume on the set of The Mummy 4.
The new film will be directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the filmmaking duo behind the recent Scream movies, and Weisz is joined in the cast by returning star Brendan Fraser.
John Hannah is also returning as Jonathan Carnahan, Evy’s endlessly lovable brother. The cast also includes Michael Johnston (Obsession), who many fans believe could be playing Rick and Evy’s now-grown son, although that hasn’t been confirmed.
Oded Fehr and Kevin J. O’Connor are officially returning as Ardeth Bay and Beni Gabor. Joining the returning cast is Numan Acar (Young Sherlock), who has signed on in an undisclosed role.
The Mummy 4 is set to be released in theatres on October 15, 2027. Now that production has begun, we should see and hear more about the film’s synopsis soon. Check out the photos below, and stay tuned:
