Slipknot have unveiled plans for a 2027 stadium tour featuring guest acts like Marilyn Manson and Bring Me The Horizon.
Since forming in 1995, the American heavy metal band have released seven studio albums and sold over 30 million records globally.
Next year they will perform live shows across the US and South America as part of their sic(est) Stadium Tour, which launches with a concert in London at Wembley Stadium.
The concert – a UK and European exclusive – takes place on July 3, featuring support from Marilyn Manson, American deathcore band Lorna Shore and American metalcore group Hatebreed.
The tour then moves to the US and Canada – with dates in cities such as Washington DC, New York City, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Boston, Houston and San Francisco.
The band will also perform five South American shows in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru and Colombia.
The tour is being promoted by management as the “ultimate Slipknot experience to date”.
It will feature a “brand new set, new staging and a setlist spanning across their career”.
Other opening acts throughout the shows include Bring Me The Horizon, Acid Bath, Lamb of God, Motionless In White, Kublai Khan TX, Polyphia, Loathe and Vended.
The title of the tour is a nod to (sic), the initial full song on their 1999 breakthrough self-titled album.
Following the announcement of the tour, Slipknot also invited fans to gather at Wembley Stadium on Monday.
Running from 5pm to 9pm, the event gives them the chance to buy tickets to shows before pre-sale and general sale to the public open.
Also hosted in Los Angeles, the event features a pop-up store with exclusive and limited merch items, while the first 500 ticket buyers will receive a free poster with exclusive artwork.
At sunset, supporters are also encouraged to gather around a 30-foot-high, iconic flaming Slipknot Tribal S symbol.
Earlier this month, Slipknot dropped the single Arsenal – their first music in over three years.
The track also marked their inaugural recording following the departure of turntablist Sid Wilson, who left in August, and keyboardist-sampler Craig Jones, who departed in 2023.
The current line-up includes Shawn Crahan, Mick Thomson, Corey Taylor, Jim Root, Alessandro Venturella, Michael Pfaff and Eloy Casagrande.
Since forming more than 30 years ago Slipknot have earned 11 Grammy Award nominations – taking home one win.
Their last album – The End, So Far – arrived in 2022.
Slipknot’s artist tour pre-sale starts at 10am BST on Tuesday, September 29, while general sale opens at 10am BST on Friday, October 2.
