Few other series in 2026 have generated as much hype as Off Campus. So it’s no wonder that the show’s breakout stars, Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli, are now favorites on the red carpet. Just look at the reaction to their reunion at the MTV Video Music Awards last night, on September 27.
For the event, Ella Bright opted for the ultimate classic: the little black dress. Her look was anything but simple, though. As her stylist Molly Dickson revealed via Instagram, the floor-length silk gown is from the Roberto Cavalli archives. But for me, the true highlight is the top of the dress. The corset with visible boning and hook-and-eye closures defines the silhouette and looks perfect with the soft drape of the skirt. It’s inspiring me to consider finding my own corset dress or top-and-satin skirt combo this fall.

Ella Bright paired her dress with a multistrand vintage pearl necklace from Dior as well as a pair of slim sunglasses from Saint Laurent. The latter adds a touch of the unexpected to the otherwise very elegant look—and goes surprisingly well with her new dark-brown hair color.
