Spider-Man: Brand New Day is coming to physical media – including 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray – in the UK in December. More here.
Comfortably the biggest film at the box office in 2026 – at least thus far – is the summer’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day. You more than likely already knew this.
At the point we’re just starting to talk about its physical media release, there’s a conversation about it going back to cinemas with added footage going in. No matter, though. Sony has banked a mere $2.5bn worldwide from the movie, and it sits as the third biggest film at the box office in the entire history of cinema.
Not bad going.
To the matter in hand: given the ongoing box office success of the film, Sony hasn’t exactly been in a rush to unveil the home formats release. And in terms of the physical debut release, it’s holding things as close to Christmas as it pretty much can: the movie is dated for disc on 14th December 2026.
A few variants will be available. There’s the standard film release itself, then there’s the Steelbook, then there’s the inevitable four film pack too, which’ll bring together the quartet of Tom Holland and Zendaya-headlined Spidey movies.

Zero word as of yet on whether we’re getting extra features or not, but if a different version of the movie is heading into cinemas, I’d expect both cuts to be included. Just don’t hold me to that.
