This Northern Irish police show, which first hit our screens in 2023, has proved a real fan favourite – and picked up the BAFTA for best drama series last year. It began by following three rookie cops in Belfast as they tried to keep the peace in the post-Troubles era and over three series we’ve seen them grow into the job. Now, Katherine Devlin, Nathan Braniff and Sian Brooke are back as officers Annie Conlon, Tommy Foster and Grace Ellis, older but not necessarily wiser.
As we return to the mean streets of Northen Ireland, Conlon and the rest of the section are challenged by escalating tensions at a community event protesting against immigration. Meanwhile, the war on drugs never stops but the latest investigation is danger of faltering. (Six episodes)
