PlayStation Plus October 2026 Games Line-Up Announced

October’s PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup has been officially revealed by Sony.

This month’s trio of titles include a slightly out of date racer, a monster-filled extraction shooter, and a multiplayer voxel shooter. Let’s dive in.

Launched last year, F1 25 is the actually pretty good entry in Codemasters’ long-running Formula 1 racing series that we awarded with an 8/10. “F1 25 is a far broader and better package than last year’s installment, and it’s comfortably the strongest the series has been since the fan favourite F1 2020,” we wrote in IGN’s F1 25 review.

Next up, Hunt: Showdown 1896, Crytek’s first-person extraction shooter that sends you off to fight mythological monsters. Originally launched in early acces back in 2018, when we awarded the game a 7.5/10 in our Hunt: Showdown 1896 review, this PS5 version also features a battle royale offering. And don’t worry if you haven’t played the first 1895 games in the series, you’ll soon pick it up.

Finally, Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 is available for PS4 and PS5. This third-person shooter with local and online co-op tells the story of what happened to the voxelEarth after the events of the first installment. Brothers from across the world reunite to face an unprecedented threat brought about by an all-new enemy that threatens to tear the Earth apart all over again.
