The fallout for Andrew Mounbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson over their involvement with Jeffrey Epstein brought unwanted attention to their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, especially after it was revealed that the sisters visited Epstein with their mother after the convict was released from prison.
The former Duke and Duchess of York’s association with Epstein led to King Charles’ decision to strip his brother of his royal titles and evict him and his ex-wife from their Royal Lodge mansion.
In October 2025, a statement from Buckingham Palace read in part, “Prince Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor … [Andrew’s] lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease, and he will move to alternative private accommodation.”
Then in January 2026, more emails and other correspondence Andrew and Sarah had with the late convicted sex offender were in the released Epstein files. Andrew’s move over 100 miles away to Sandringham was then accelerated, and Sarah went into hiding for months.
One month later, Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, which is also related to his relationship with Epstein.
Following Andrew’s arrest, King Charles released another statement that read: “I have learned with the deepest concern the news about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and suspicion of misconduct in public office. What now follows is the full, fair, and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.”
To escape the drama unfolding and making headlines, Princess Eugenie fled to Portugal with her husband and children, where the family lives part-time, before giving birth to her third child. But Princess Beatrice remained in England, where her personal life was put under a microscope.
With her parents’ links to Epstein still fresh in everyone’s minds, several tabloids began to report that there was trouble in the princess’s marriage to Edoardo “Edo” Mapelli Mozzi after the property developer began traveling solo overseas.
Friends of the couple came out to dispel the rumors, telling Hello! “[Beatrice and Edo] both had recent stints working abroad and like so many working parents, have been balancing work with looking after the kids. Reports that things aren’t good between them are not true at all. Things are great between them and the only distance between them recently has been physical distance because of work!”
However, the chatter continued. Now, it seems with all that has gone on over the last several months that Beatrice could be seeking out the help of a crisis management expert. The royal and her husband stepped out with Spotify executive Dustee Jenkins. The three were spotted dining together at Dorian restaurant in Notting Hill.
A source who knows Jenkins told the Daily Mail, “She’s an old hand at crisis management. Dustee would be a natural person for Beatrice, or any of the Yorks, to turn to for reputational management.”
The sighting comes after it was reported that Beatrice’s mother is planning a tell-all memoir, something Fergie has denied. Sources close to Sarah said she is eager to tell her story though and could do so in a sit-down interview.
