Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s past relationship drama is back in the spotlight following Ken Urker’s death. An old video involving Blanchard and a blanket has resurfaced as she mourns the father of her daughter. The clip was reposted by an account called Without a Crystal Ball, which challenged her description of Urker as her soulmate and revisited allegations about tensions between the pair. Urker died on October 1, his 34th birthday. Authorities are continuing to investigate his death.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s Blanket Video Circulates Again
The account brought the footage of Gypsy “raging out” back into circulation with a lengthy Instagram post about Blanchard and Urker’s relationship. The account says the recording dates back to 2025 and first leaked online in May 2026.
In the footage shared by the account, Blanchard is seen kneeling over a red blanket. The accompanying caption alleges she was taking her anger out on it during an earlier conflict involving Urker.
The repost opened with a direct challenge to her recent tribute. “Just so we are clear. Gypsy Rose Blanchard and Ken Urker were not soulmates,” the account wrote.
The caption then revisited alleged private messages, family concerns, and a custody dispute that reportedly preceded his death. “When Gypsy was angry with Ken, she would often call him gay or use homophobic slurs,” the account claimed. “She also would accuse him of cheating on her. Meanwhile, Gypsy remained in constant contact with her ex-husband and other men during this same period.”
It continued, “Ken eventually kicked Gypsy out of their shared home in July. They were involved in a custody dispute & Autumn alleged that CPS was involved due to this video being leaked.”
The Account Says Blanchard Addressed The Incident
According to the post, Blanchard and Urker both previously acknowledged that the recording was real. The account claims Blanchard admitted in text messages that she had been drinking and was directing her anger toward the blanket. It also says she maintained that she would never be violent toward Urker or Aurora.
The account dates the video to the year before Urker’s death, although its renewed circulation has brought it into the current discussion about their relationship.
Alleged Custody Tensions Come Back Into Focus
The repost also claims the video originally leaked alongside a message in which Urker said he planned to seek custody of their daughter. The account alleges that his sister, Autumn, publicly raised concerns about her brother and niece in May 2026.
The account further claims Blanchard and Urker were involved in a custody dispute and says Autumn alleged that child protective services became involved after the recording surfaced. Those allegations have not been independently confirmed.
Blanchard and Urker welcomed Aurora in December 2024.
Viewers Question Why Blanchard Recorded The Moment
The resurfaced video drew criticism in the comments, with viewers questioning the recording and asking about Blanchard’s daughter, Aurora. “Why would she record this,” one Instagram user wrote.
Others wanted to know where her daughter was during the incident. “Where is her daughter while all of this is going on?” one commenter asked, while another wrote, “Where is the baby now???”
The dog visible in the footage also caught viewers’ attention. “I feel bad for the dog,” one person commented. “That dog. Get it out of there,” another added.
Ken Urker Was Found Unresponsive On His Birthday
News of Urker’s death broke on October 1. According to PEOPLE, Blanchard sent him a birthday message but received no response. Her brother, Dylan, and his wife later arrived at the Louisiana home and found Urker unresponsive. He was 34.
The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that deputies responded to a residence in Raceland that evening and found him dead. Authorities said the death investigation remained ongoing. They have not linked the earlier video or the relationship allegations in the repost to his death
