Just two weeks after a hugely entertaining UFC 331, we’re getting another numbered event with UFC 332 going down in Salt Lake City. At the top of the card is a women’s flyweight battle between Natália Silva and Wang Cong for the vacant belt. Silva was originally going to face the champion Valentina Shevchenko, but Shevchenko was forced to withdraw and vacate the title due to a back and shoulder injury.

Silva has been pro since 2015 and has racked up a 20-5 record, but she’s won all 14 of her last fights. The Brazilian fighter’s most recent defeat came in 2017. She got her start practicing taekwondo, which means she’ll likely continue to rely on her lightning-fast striking against Wang.

Although she’s not on the same level as Shevchenko, Wang is a formidable fighter with an impressive 10-1 record since starting her MMA career just four years ago. A kickboxer by training, there’s a good chance she’ll also go for striking against Silva. However, a surprise takedown is very much on the table, in which case it’s anyone’s fight.
