Popular Tudor house opens its first pumpkin patch this October

Historic Tudor house, Coughton Court in Warwickshire, is getting into the Halloween spirit this October by opening its first ever pumpkin patch.

From 7th October to 1st November, visitors to the property in Alcester will be able to pick up their perfect pumpkin and enjoy a seasonal day out in the grounds.

Set against the backdrop of the historic house in Coughton Court’s award-winning gardens, entry to the pumpkin patch is included in all house and garden tickets, with pumpkins starting from just £2.

Magnus Birch Throckmorton, who manages Coughton Court alongside his wife Imogen, said: “Pumpkin picking is a fun autumn tradition for lots of families, so we’re delighted to be introducing our very first pumpkin patch at Coughton Court.

“We hope it will give families a chance to enjoy some time together, get outdoors and make some special memories this Halloween.”

After exploring the pumpkin patch, visitors can enjoy an autumnal treat in the Stableyard Cafe or relax while little ones have fun in the play area.

Tickets are £15.50 for adults (16+) and £6.50 for children (under 5s are free.

There are also £14 tickets for concessions, (60+) and students.

Parking and entry to the Stableyard cafe, shop and play area is free of charge.

Coughton Court is also open all year round, Wednesday to Sunday, from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
