Keerthy Suresh has had a series of releases in a short span, but none of them has delivered the kind of success she would have hoped for.
She recently appeared in the Tamil film “Dorothy”, which received critical appreciation but also divided opinion among audiences. Despite the positive reviews in some quarters, the film failed to emerge as a hit in Tamil Nadu and could not make much impact in other languages either.
Last weekend, “Dorothy” arrived in the Telugu market in dubbed form. However, Telugu audiences largely ignored the film, resulting in another disappointing outing for the actress.
Earlier, Keerthy Suresh made a special appearance in “The Paradise” for the song “Yesha Nagula”. The song generated considerable buzz and went viral before the film’s release, but its popularity did not sustain after the movie arrived in theatres. While “The Paradise” posted strong numbers, it fell short of the blockbuster status.
Keerthy Suresh is now looking ahead to her upcoming projects, including the Telugu film “Rowdy Janardhana”, along with a couple of projects in Bollywood and Tamil cinema. She will be hoping that these films bring her the success that has eluded her in her recent outings
