Amazon shoppers are enjoying the first of a two day Prime sale which sees thousands of items slashed to some of the lowest prices of the year. Among the deals, is a £100 saving on the highly rated Beats Solo 4 – Wireless Bluetooth On-Ear Headphones which are compatible with Apple and Android, boasting up to 50 hours of battery life.
Usually priced at £199.95, shoppers can now snap them up for £99 in matte black, cloud pink, sandstone, and slate blue. Custom acoustic architecture and updated drivers promise powerful sound, while ultra plush ear cushions make them a comfy choice for long flights and commutes.
Should your headphones run out while on the go, a quick ten minute charge can unlock a further five hours of playback. The Amazon’s Choice headphones have recieved over 3,040 global customer reviews, with 80% of shoppers rating them a perfect five stars.

Although, it’s worth noting these headphones do not have active noise cancellation which is something some shoppers have expressed disappointment with.
One shopper said as part of a longer review: “A downside is the lack of active noise cancellation. This is becoming more common, especially at this price point, which is a bit of a letdown. You’ll still get some nice passive noise isolation thanks to the snug fit, but it’s not a substitute for true noise cancellation.”
Alternatively, the Sony WH-CH720N Wireless Over-Ear Headphones offer a cheaper option, available for £69.99 at Argos and Currys. Available in black, blue and pink, the headphones deliver 35 hours of battery life and have active noise cancellation.

Another noise cancelling pair are the Belkin SoundForm Isolate Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones, priced at £49.99. While there is no indication of exact battery life, shoppers have said they last throughout the day, and a 10 minute fast charge can help to extend it.
