Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s eldest daughter, North West, often makes headlines for her style choices. From her blue hair to fake face tattoos, the 13-year-old has alarmed the internet several times. She recently added metal grills to her look during her latest outing with her stepmother, Bianca Censori.
According to the Daily Mail, North joined her father and his wife to attend the 10th anniversary festival of ComplexCon at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The teenage singer turned up in her usual style: black clothes and blue hair. She wore a deer-printed black T-shirt and a matching leather mini skirt.
She tied her blue strands in two thick braids. For accessories, the teenager wore a chunky silver necklace with a comic skull pendant. On one hand, she wore a leather band bracelet with silver spikes, and applied some bandages on the other. Maintaining her edgy style, she opted for glam makeup with dramatic eyes.
West also maintained his usual style and showed up in an all-black ensemble. He twinned with his wife, Censori, and daughter at the event. The Donda rapper accessorized his look with chunky black sunglasses that his Australian wife also carried.
The 49-year-old rapper previously feuded with his ex-wife over North’s social media appearances. He criticized Kardashian for allowing their daughter to make TikTok appearances without involving him in the decision. Their feud took a major turn last year when the rapper released the track Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine.
West included his daughter’s vocals in the track alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs and Christian Combs. The collaboration neither sat well with Kardashian nor the audience due to the heavy allegations Combs was facing at the time. Eventually, the beauty mogul took a stand for her daughter and responded with cease-and-desist letters and legal paperwork to block the song.
While Kardashian often faces backlash over her parenting techniques, she recently revealed that she does hold her daughter back. According to the Sunday Times, the beauty mogul opened up about the different choices of all four of her kids. She specified that North is the only one at the moment who wants fame.
The SKIMS founder said that she and West have a better understanding now as they communicate to raise their children the “right way.” “I do worry about it. Each kid does what they’re comfortable with,” she shared. She continued, “So, my little ones come around when I’m filming, but they don’t really do storylines,” referring to her reality TV show The Kardashians.
“North loves it a little bit more than the rest. I hold her back,” she shared. Kardashian further noted that her eldest daughter wants to do “forward-facing projects.” However, the teenager is not allowed to do every project that comes her way. The 45-year-old explained, “It’s like us really kind of trying to savor those moments and not doing everything that comes her way, so we can really make sure that we manage it the right way.”
North has confirmed that she wishes to pursue a career in music like her father. Therefore, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star and the rapper have better communication about the opportunities they bring for their daughter. They ensure they are aligned and allow their daughter to be a part of the project that they both approve of.
