Aaron Frazer Pulls At The Heartstrings On ‘Same Old Game’ | News

LA singer Aaron Frazer has shared his new song ‘Same Old Game’.

The vocalist is perhaps best known for his role in revered modern soul outfit Durand Jones & the Indications, while Aaron Frazer followed his 2021 solo debut ‘Introducing…’ with 2024 album ‘Into The Blue’.

New EP ‘Corners’ is out on October 30th, and it finds Aaron speaking from the heart.

Take his latest single ‘Same Old Game’ – a crisp sweet soul wonder, the vocal is imbued with incredible feeling, while the lyric evokes a childhood sense of innocence.

Written and recorded between tours over the past year, ‘Same Old Game’ comes with a pleasingly retro black and white video.

Aaron comments…

“I love childhood imagery in soul music. The Intruders’ ‘Cowboys to Girls’ is probably the most famous, depicting that jump from juvenile preoccupation to grown-up feelings of love. I’ve always wanted to write something in that tradition, and ‘Same Old Game’ is my contribution to that niche. I think a lot of people can relate to that longstanding crush feeling like a game of tag back and forth. I hope people hear this, send this to that someone, and shoot their shot. Only one way to find out.”

Tune in now.
