“The daytime and nighttime video quality is exceptionally sharp, licence plates and signs come through perfectly clear.”
A dash cam on Amazon is being praised by shoppers for giving them ‘peace of mind while driving’ – and it is currently discounted. The Woolaacoo Dash Cam Front and Rear 4K is currently available for £38.99, down from £42.99.
It features dual cameras: a front camera which records 4K ultra-high-definition video and a rear camera which records 1080P video. The brand says this helps drivers read key information, such as road signs, license plates, and lane markings, providing reliable evidence in the event of an accident or dispute.
It also has built-in Wi-Fi, allowing users to connect it to smartphones, and there’s a dedicated app available for iOS and Android. Through the app, drivers can view, download, and share recordings.
The brand says the dash cam has enhanced night vision capabilities, too, capturing clear details even in darkness or rainy conditions. Plus, when it is connected to the Three-Lead Hardwire Kit, sold separately, the dash cam enables 24-hour continuous recording.
Other handy features include loop recording which overwrites older files when the SD card is full, a G-sensor which can lock critical footage upon detecting a collision, and an additional USB port. It comes with a built-in 64GB SD card, ready for immediate use.
