£14 Primark shoes look just like £229 All Saints pair

There’s a huge £215 price difference

Primark is stocking a pair of shoes that bear a striking resemblance to a pricier alternative. Known for its affordable fashion and homeware, the high street giant may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser.

The shoes are part of Primark’s hotly-anticipated range in partnership with Coleen Rooney. The retailer says “By Coleen” features “elevated staples and trend-led essentials designed to work with modern life, not against it”. Items are said to be low effort and comfortable, while also offering “polished matching sets and ultra-feminine looks”.

Among many By Coleen items are Primark’s By Coleen Faux Suede Penny Loafers, priced at £14. The shoes feature a slip-on design, stitch detailing and a low-profile heel, and are made of faux suede.

Meanwhile All Saints is selling a similar-looking pair for £229, although this version is made of genuine suede. All Saints’ Jules Hand-Stitched Suede Loafers have a “natural, distressed finish, low stacked heel and hand-finished with exposed stitching”.

Coleen confirmed her major Primark deal back in March of this year. At the time she said: “I hope you love the collection as much as I do. I’ve worked really hard to create pieces that make you feel and look great — all at an affordable price. For every version of you.

“Primark has been part of my life for years. I remember travelling to Manchester to shop there as a teenager and even visiting Penneys in Ireland when I was younger.

“Working with Primark feels like such a natural fit because I’ve always believed you don’t need to spend more to look great. I’m constantly on the move from the school run to meetings, lunch or football training, so I need clothes that work across all of it.

“With this collection, I wanted to create everyday pieces that are wearable, comfortable and made from lovely fabrics, but still feel polished and stylish. I hope that women can wear this collection and feel confident, put-together and like the best version of themselves.”
