‘Beautiful lamp, perfect size and absolutely stunning centre piece for my living room’
The right table lamp can completely change the feel of a room, adding a softer glow in the evening while doubling up as a decorative piece during the day. Small, wireless, lamps are becoming popular as it frees up cluttered wires or the need to be close to a plug socket.
Dusk has plenty of statement lighting to choose from, but three ceramic table lamps are proving particularly popular with shoppers. As they make living rooms ‘look stunning’.
As well as being ideal for small spaces, shoppers have highlighted the design of the Dusk lamps as ‘they make an impact’ on sideboards and chest of drawers.
The Atlas Ceramic Table Lamp
The Atlas Ceramic Table Lamp is a classic option, combining a blue and natural-toned ceramic base with a white fabric shade. It’s now priced at £41.65, down from £49, and measures at 50cm tall and 30cm in diameter.
This means it’s substantial enough to make an impact on a sideboard or chest of drawers without dominating the space. It requires an E27 GLS LED bulb of up to 10W and is mains powered. The bulb isn’t included and the lamp isn’t dimmable, so those are worth bearing in mind when choosing where to put it.
The Atlas Ceramic Table Lamp

This lamp has a ceramic base in blue and natural tones and is finished off with a classic white shade.
One shopper said of this lamp: “Gorgeous lamp that arrived really quickly (and was wrapped securely). Very pleased with the quality of the lamp too – beautiful.”
There is a small downside, however, with one reviewer saying: “They are nice lamps, but given that I ordered two, I would have thought a matching colour would have been sent. One is blue and the other more green. Couldn’t be bothered to return [as I’m] too busy, and [didn’t want to] pay more postage.”
A similar option include the Sandi Ceramic Table Lamp for £50 on Dunelm for the 41cm size. This rustic-style lamp comes in natural or brown colours, with 21cm (£20) and 48cm (£70) options up for grabs too.
The Vivienne Carved Ceramic Table Lamp
For something with a little more colour and character, there’s the Vivienne Carved Ceramic Table Lamp. This stylish lamp has a glossy green carved ceramic base with a subtle grid design and a scalloped woven shade, finished with contrasting green trim. Measuring 23 x 23 x 37cm, its smaller proportions make it particularly suited to a bedside table.
One shopper gave it a five-star review for the lamp, which is currently priced at £46 (down from £59), writing: “I’m obsessed over this! It’s super cute in real life, especially with the detailing on the lamp shade.
“The size is perfect as a bedside lamp and it has character without being too loud. Took me ages to find a lamp like that – it’s perfect!” While there are currently no negative reviews for the lamp, it’s worth noting that its eclectic style might not fit into every room.
An alternative for this one is the Joshua Ceramic Striped Rechargeable Table Lamp for £49.50 from M&S. This funky ceramic lamp features green stripes that run from the square base up to the empire shade, with three touch-controlled brightness settings to choose from.
The Ivy Marble Effect Table Lamp
Finally, Dusk has the Ivy Marble Effect Table Lamp – a more understated option, with a cream marble-effect base and classic shade. Its neutral design should slot easily onto a bedside table, console or sideboard, while the warm glow is designed to create a cosy atmosphere. It’s the most compact of the three at 28 x 28 x 39cm and takes an E27 GLS LED bulb, which again isn’t included.
With high ratings and currently priced at £27 (down from £39), one shopper wrote in their review: “Beautiful lamp, perfect size and absolutely stunning centrepiece for my living room.” However, one customer did note that they “haven’t received this item yet”.
Another option could be the Melanie Dark Marble Effect Table Lamp for £37.99 from Amazon. It features a brown marble effect base that features a ‘porous stone texture’, and is paired with a classic drum shade.
