Madhav’s Transformation Is Absolutely Perfect: Ravi Teja

Madhav’s debut film Maremma is gearing up for release on the 10th of this month. The team held the film’s pre-release event, with Ravi Teja gracing the occasion as the chief guest.

Madhav admitted that the moment was overwhelming, especially as his mother became emotional while watching him take the stage. Having grown up watching Ravi Teja’s films, the youngster said seeing him at his first movie event felt surreal.

“I grew up watching him and his movies. Having him at my first movie, my first pre-release event, and seeing him right in front of me feels out of this world. I don’t even know how to express this moment,” he said.

Madhav then made an affectionate clarification about his relationship with Ravi Teja.

“He is not my Pedda Nanna. He is more like an elder brother to me. Everyone, please fix that in your minds. This high is enough,” he said.

The young actor also spoke about the attention generated by the film’s promotional material. He revealed that he woke up to a tweet from Ram Gopal Varma praising the teaser and trailer.

While he was delighted by the response to the promotional content, Madhav said he hoped audiences would be equally satisfied with the full film.

Speaking about what makes Maremma different, Madhav highlighted its unusual emotional core.

“Usually, a brotherly bond exists between two humans, but this film will show you how magical the bond between a man and a buffalo can be,” he explained.

He credited director Nagaraju for blending this unusual relationship with the story surrounding Mahishapuram’s village deity, Maremma.

“Director Nagaraju has brilliantly blended such a wonderful emotion with Mahishapuram’s village deity Maremma,” Madhav said.

The film also features a love story, which Madhav described as a cute element in the narrative. He thanked producers Mayur and Kushal for backing the project and also acknowledged actress Deepa Balu, Vikas and others.

Ravi Teja revealed that he had watched a rough cut of the film.

“They showed me a rough cut of the movie. It is very rooted and rustic. The film is very good, and they have made it really well. It is based on real incidents in Telangana. People are definitely going to love it,” he said.

Ravi Teja also praised Deepa Balu for adapting well to the Telangana slang and speaking Telugu effectively. He added that he had earlier watched Vikas in Mukha Chitram and liked his performance.

The actor also appreciated the technical team, especially composer Prashanth Vihari.

“Prashanth Vihari’s songs are really good. Director Nagaraju has done a fantastic job, especially considering this is his first film,” Ravi Teja said, praising him for choosing an unconventional subject.

Turning to Madhav, Ravi Teja complimented his transformation and screen presence.

“Madhav has good height and has maintained his beard well. His transformation is absolutely perfect and looks very good. I wish him all the very best,” he said.

Ravi Teja’s encouraging words are expected to add further buzz around Maremma ahead of its theatrical release.
