Gamers are clamouring to get their hands on GTA 6 as soon as humanly possible, and it looks like one lucky country is set to load into Vice City before anyone else when November 19 rolls around.
That’s according to a discovery by fan site GTAVice.net, which dug into the PlayStation Store findings to find out what time Rockstar’s latest game will be releasing in different regions. As it stands, New Zealand is currently the front runner to get access to GTA 6 a whopping 12 hours ahead of the UK.
At the moment, it seems that the back-end data for the PlayStation Store will see GTA 6 release with a rolling midnight launch. That makes the release time easy to calculate in your region – as soon as the clock strikes midnight on the morning of November 19, 2026, you should be able to access your copy of Grand Theft Auto 6.
Rockstar hasn’t officially confirmed that the rolling midnight launch is officially the way it’s planning to launch GTA 6, and there’s every chance that this could just be a placeholder on the PlayStation Store for now.
If a rolling midnight launch is the plan though, then there might be a way for some users to gain access to GTA 6 early depending on their platform. Xbox users are notoriously able to set their console’s timezone to New Zealand without much hassle, which should in-turn allow them to boot up GTA 6 ahead of the release time in their region.
However, PlayStation users are slightly out of luck. While it may be possible to access GTA 6 early, PS5 gamers usually have to create a whole new PlayStation account permanently set to the New Zealand region and purchase the game in its local currency.
