
Chiranjeevi’s daughter and producer Sushmita Konidela has been appointed as a special invitee to the Sri Durga Malleshwara Swamy Devasthanam, popularly known as the Kanakadurga Temple, in Vijayawada.
Andhra Pradesh Endowments Department Secretary Kannababu issued orders regarding her appointment on Tuesday.
As a special invitee, Sushmita is expected to contribute to various activities concerning the temple’s development and administration.
Sushmita, the elder daughter of Chiranjeevi, has worked as a stylist for her father and recently ventured into film production. She co-produced “Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu”, starring Chiranjeevi.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s wife Konidela Surekha was recently appointed as a board member of the Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Telangana by the Revanth Reddy-led government.
Chiranjeevi’s brother Pawan Kalyan is the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, while his other brother Naga Babu is an MLC in the state. Naga Babu was also recently appointed chairman of the AP-GREEN executive committee.
