The grind is about to pay off for wrestling fans, as a fresh content drop arrives in WWE 2K26. Servers are preparing for the launch of Ringside Pass Season 5, including a 2K debut for one stand-out superstar.
After a year of ridiculous real-life storylines, Danhausen is arriving in WWE 2K26 as part of Season 5. The man behind curses that have plagued his fellow wrestlers and indeed some of the NBA’s biggest teams is finally playable in the game. He is one of four new superstars dropping in Season 5, alongside fresh cosmetics and MyFaction cards.
WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season 5 release date and time
Season 5 of the WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass is set for release on September 9. Owners of the Monday Night War Edition of the game have it included with their base game, but other players will need to purchase the pass separately or via the Season Pass.
An exact time for the new Ringside Pass to be available is yet to be confirmed by 2K Games. However, it will likely be downloadable between 3pm and 6pm BST, the previously established window for new WWE 2K26 content.
WWE 2K26 Ringside Pass Season 5 content
Players who get the Premium Track of the Ringside Pass will unlock Season 5’s four new superstars immediately. As well as Danhausen, Brie Bella and Bam Bam Bigelow return to the game after a lengthy absence.
There’s also a WWE 2K debut for AAA luchador Pagano, all of whom are available on Tier 1 of the Premium Track. Players can also unlock two persona cards on the Premium Track, with Bianca Belair’s WrestleMania 41 look and Randy Orton ‘05 locked behind tiers 33 and 40 respectively.
For those looking for free content once unlocking the Ringside Pass for Season 5, there are a total of 60 rewards. Players can get persona cards for Alexa Bliss ‘25 (Tier 13), Drew McIntyre 2010 (Tier 20) and Triple H ‘99 (Tier 40).
Chapter 3 of the Island is also coming to WWE 2K26 with the upcoming patch that will release on the same day. Players can access new quests, rewards and more as Stephanie McMahon seizes control of the Island.
On top of all that, there are also plenty of cosmetic items and new moves to unlock along the way with Ringside Pass Season 5.
