Jenelle Evans’ move from Las Vegas to Florida has come along with plenty of drama. Just weeks after opting out of her Sin City adventure with David Eason in tow, the fate of their rekindled romance has fallen apart. To go along with her romantic troubles, the former Teen Mom 2 star has a fresh set of health woes. She’s sharing them with followers in tearful updates and cryptic posts while seeing medical providers.
Jenelle Evans shares a tearful health update
Jenelle Evans’ health appears to be in a spiral in the weeks since her split from David Eason. Over the past several weeks, she’s shared a series of emotional videos on Instagram about the amount of pain she has been in since a fall several months ago. Her most recent update, following a cryptic post from a Florida hospital, offered followers a new-ish diagnosis.
Jenelle revealed that she has three cysts on her spine, up from a single 2mm cyst she disclosed on social media several years ago. The cysts appear to be a separate issue from a Complex Regional Pain Syndrome diagnosis she revealed several weeks ago. CRPS causes the nervous system to remain in a heightened, painful state even without an ongoing injury, and Evans has said the diagnosis has limited her mobility, at one point requiring her to send someone else to handle a matter involving her son because she “couldn’t physically travel.”
Jenelle has a history of sharing health struggles with her followers, especially in times of strife with her romantic partners. Over the years, she’s discussed ovarian cysts, esophageal spasms, several leg and arm injuries, and her spinal concerns and fears of becoming paralyzed.
The David Eason Situation
Jenelle Evans has plenty of critics, and they’ve been busy tying together her recent diagnosis to the most recent, and freshest, blowup in her decade-long relationship with David Eason. The health updates have kicked up just as she’s cryptically revealed a brand new split from Eason, who appears to have left Florida to return home to North Carolina within the last few weeks. While it’s unclear exactly what caused the sudden break, Jenelle is back to slinging accusations her ex-husband’s way.
According to her recent posts, she’s accused him of taking her credit card and using it without permission. That’s nothing new, though. Jenelle has accused David of taking her cards or other property during previous breakups. She accused him of using her debit card in 2023 just before their separation went public. In 2024, she alleged that he stole motorcycles from her North Carolina property while she was living in Vegas. No legal charges came from either incident.
David and Jenelle had been living together again since January 2026, but their reunion appears to have collapsed just as quickly as it came together. She still holds an active restraining order against him. David is also dealing with criminal charges associated with a 2023 incident where he allegedly attacked Jenelle’s son, Jace, who was just 14 at the time. The teen turned 17 in August.
