Nearly three minutes of radioactive glowing, biomorphic sci-fi psychedelia, experience the eyeball-infecting visuals for ‘Misanthrope‘ made with support from NZ On Air — a standout track from Alphabethead’s latest album My Name Is David — and go catch him letting rip live in the coming weeks, on tour with Grecco Romank, playing a hometown Halloween rager with Lilstiffy and XRVR, and rocking the free Last Place 5th Birthday Party…
“The initial seed I sent to Foothead was just ‘an inhospitable world where the electronic blips and bloops represent life finding a way’. The other direction was that those long synth moments are the peaks of the song and ‘cataclysmic events’ that accelerate the mutation of any creature/blob/organism on screen. Foothead and I would refer to these as ‘beaming rays of radiation.’
