Shygirl will release her new album ‘Swallow!’ on November 6th via Because Music.
The UK star kicked off her new era this summer, airing fresh material during her show-stopping set at Draaimolen festival on September 4th in the Netherlands.
Looking ahead, new album ‘Swallow!’ lands on November 6th via Because Music. Available to pre-order now, Shygirl will further tease the record with shows in Italy, Iceland, and Spain.
New single ‘Lucky (Hymn)’ is out now – the title is an exquisite pun, and the song itself finds Shygirl building outwards, a maverick force whose use of club physicality is aligned to a femme voice.
A punchy, dynamic return, ‘Lucky (Hymn)’ comes alongside a music video co-directed by Shygirl and Austen Taylor Pease that plays out like a film shot in one single unbroken take.
Shygirl resides in the character of ‘Alyse‘ – first introduced in her last video of the same name – and another character ‘Kay’. An exploration of danger and our flickering responses, it switches between them both tied up and beaten in an unassuming kitchen.
