It is indeed now full steam ahead for Wānaka alt-folk collective sloer, who recently wrapped up a successful fundraiser to put the finishing touches on their forthcoming debut album. Joining fellow travellers The Broken Heartbreakers for the Ōtepoti leg of their Imagine If We Could Just Keep Driving tour next Saturday, sloer have announced a nationwide tour of their own, rolling into the four main centres plus Waiheke Island’s Artworks Theatre and their hometown’s Rhyme x Reason Brewery this October. Experience the unhurried elegance of sloer’s first two singles ‘crawling’ and ‘slaughter’ below, look forward to their next single ‘shame’ on 25th September, and make a beeline to the following dates…

Wānaka indie folk-rock band sloer hit the road this spring for six dates across Aotearoa, ahead of their debut album in March 2027.
