Kris Jenner, the famed momager of the Kardashian family, had a security scare this week. On September 7, a 25-year-old man was detained by her security team near her home in Santa Monica. According to news reports, the man, named Zenwilliam Robson, has a history of trying to contact the famed TV personality. He was hauled off by police on suspicion of stalking. While the recent brush with a possible stalker was surely frightening, it’s not the first time the Kardashian family has grappled with the sometimes scary side of their celebrity. Over the years, several individuals have been accused of stalking the family. Let’s take a look back at the most serious incidents.

Kris Jenner’s latest security scare isn’t her first

Kris Jenner’s latest security scare isn’t her first. Since skyrocketing to fame, she’s had two serious incidents with stalkers. Between early 2016 and the months leading up to it, nurse’s assistant Christina Elizabeth Bankston hacked Jenner’s iCloud account and spent months harassing her, impersonating her, and threatening her family. Bankston, then 36, was arrested by FBI special agents in August 2016 on a 15-count federal indictment, including six counts of stalking, four counts of computer hacking, one count of extortion, and four counts of aggravated identity theft. Prosecutors said her conduct included impersonating Jenner in calls to law enforcement, hacking into her iCloud and Instagram accounts, and sending harassing, threatening messages to Caitlyn Jenner.

Just a few years later, Jenner sought a restraining order against Joshua Jacobs, a former security guard. Jacobs reportedly broke into Jenner’s gated community in an attempt to reach her. Jacobs had been fired by the family before the incident. He was detained by private security close to the door of Jenner’s home before police arrived.

Jenner also sought a restraining order against Kyle Robert DeWick earlier this year. DeWick is accused of attempting to reach multiple members of the Kardashian family over the course of several years. According to TMZ, he first tried to make contact with Kylie Jenner in 2021. He then moved on to the rest of the family. The order of protection prohibits DeWick from attempting to contact any member of the family and requires him to stay 100 yards away for the next three years.

Kim Kardashian has multiple restraining orders against stalkers

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to obsessed fans and stalkers either. In 2022, Kim sought a restraining order against a man named Andre Persaud. Kim alleges that Persaud appeared at her home multiple times, claimed he was armed, and told her they communicate “telepathically.” The order was granted.

In 2024, she sought protection from Melvin Jeffery Conley. Conley attempted to gain access to Kim and Kris’ homes after reportedly breaking into the home of Emma Roberts. Kim was granted a temporary order, but no criminal charges followed.

Kendall Jenner’s has had multiple stalkers, too

Kendall Jenner has had her fair share of stalkers, too. In 2018, she was granted a five-year restraining order against Shavaughn McKenzie after he was arrested outside of her Hollywood Hills home. Kendall testified that the man approached her car and banged on the windows as she tried to get away.

In 2018, John Ford was arrested after bypassing security and sitting on Kendall’s porch. He was deported to Canada after being detained for violating a restraining order. In 2021, Shaquan King was arrested after he entered Kendall’s backyard, undressed, and got into her pool. He was also found trespassing at Kylie Jenner’s home that same year.

The family’s most recent brush with a stalker is not the first and, likely, won’t be the last. Zenwilliam Robson was released by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department on September 10. He is expected back in court on September 22 to answer a misdemeanor charge.
