Actor Jitin Gulati has opened up about his experience working with Prabhas in Hanu Raghavapudi’s upcoming period action drama Fauzi. After spending nearly two years on the project, Gulati says the Baahubali star has proved to be exceptionally warm, generous and supportive, calling him one of the industry’s genuinely good hearted personalities.
Gulati revealed that Prabhas’ humility impressed him throughout the lengthy shoot. He said the actor consistently helped people around him and remained approachable despite his superstar status. The actor also jokingly praised Prabhas’ famous home cooked food, recalling that the mutton he tasted was among the best he had ever eaten.
Fauzi is directed by Hanu Raghavapudi and is set against the backdrop of pre Independence India, following a soldier through a story involving courage, honour, freedom and sacrifice. The film features Imanvi as the female lead, with Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher and Jaya Prada among the prominent supporting cast.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Fauzi has music by Vishal Chandrasekhar and cinematography by Sudeep Chatterjee. The makers officially announced December 3, 2026 as the worldwide theatrical release date. However, recent reports suggest the schedule could potentially change, making the final release status worth watching.
