Emily Atack and Alistair Garner welcomed almost 200 guests to their scenic second wedding as they tied the knot in the courtyard of a 16th century church in Mojacar, Spain
Emily Atack looked pretty in white once again as she tied the knot for the second time in weeks. The Inbetweeners actress, 36, and husband Alistair Garner, 40, exchanged their vows in the idyllic location once described by Emily as her “favourite place on earth”.
The duo headed to Spain with almost 200 guests for round two. The group descended on the scenic hilltop location of Mojacar to exchange their vows in the courtyard of a 16th century church. And Emily looked stunning as she did so.
She was seen in an off-the-shoulder gown with a beautiful veil and long train, which was being held on occasion by her chief bridesmaid. She made her way down the aisle with her pop-star father, Keith Atack, who was seen in a smart suit and flip flops.
Emily had pulled up in a vintage red Cadillac convertible. Images from the special day showed to stunning set-up, including the table plans. The names all had different languages, with the top table that sat Emily reading Ahava. In Hebrew, the term means “love”.
Celeb pals such as Leigh Francis – also known as Keith Lemon – were seen seated at the Agapi table. Other table names featured included Gugma, Cinta, Habibi and Sarang.
Crates of Cava were seen arriving before the day’s proceedings with the crowd set for a great day. And there were beautiful floral displays being set up in the grounds as the sun blazed down.
Wicker place mats were set out with floral designs as the backdrop showed the ground’s true beauty.
The Daily Mail says the registrar at the ceremony told the guests: “I expect some of you in here are experiencing some Deja vu”. They were referring to Emily’s first wedding three weeks earlier, which took place in Bedfordshire.
Last month, Emily and Alistair had quietly married in a church back in the UK. They went on to have a party in the garden at their Bedfordshire mansion.
For the first occasion, Emily wore an ivory plunge dress from Evelie with long sleeves, a veil and lace shoes by Charlotte Mills.
She revealed the reason behind the lovely look. She said: Since Rivals, in terms of fashion, I tend to go quite big now generally.”
And ahead of wedding number two, Emily revealed the imporance of the location. Their latest ceremony at the holiday hotspot, in Costa de Almería, southern Spain, is where her musician dad Keith once had a holiday home.
Emily had spent summers there when she was young. Speaking previously about her love of the town, Emily admitted: “It’s our favourite place on Earth and we still go every single year. I loved my family holidays there growing up.”
