Apple’s newest iPhone range is available for pre-order from today, bringing us vast improvements to the range’s camera and battery life, not to mention two sleek new colourways.
The iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max were unveiled at the Apple Event on Thursday alongside the tech giant’s most dramatic redesign ever: the folding iPhone Duo.
However, while the Duo won’t be available until October, the 18 Pro and Pro Max are ready for road-testing. They boast Apple’s most advanced pro camera system ever, with a 48MP Fusion Main camera and new Pro controls in the camera app, plus up to 45 hours of battery life, thanks to advancements in Apple silicon.
The new phones will also arrive with an entirely redesigned Siri, which can use AI features to organise people’s lives, all powered by a new and improved A20 chip.
Best of all, the iPhone 18 comes in new Burgundy and Glacier (light blue) colourways, alongside the traditional black and white.
In the announcement Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said: “With iPhone 18 Pro, we’ve made advancements to the areas our users care about most: camera, performance, battery, and intelligence. And we didn’t just make incremental improvements in these areas — we took huge leaps forward to create the best Pro iPhone we’ve ever made.”
