Hours before the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards air live from the Peacock Theater in Downtown Los Angeles with first-time host Mariska Hargitay, the festivities begin on the Emmys 2026 red carpet. With stars from Widow’s Bay, Hacks, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, The Gilded Age, and Love Story, among others, all nominated, the Emmys 2026 red carpet is the destination for celebrity run-ins, breathless interviews, and, of course, major fashion moments.
Making a bold style statement is often better with company. Some of the starriest duos expected to walk the Emmys 2026 red carpet include nominated couples like The Diplomat’s Keri Russell and her former The Americans costar turned real-life partner Matthew Rhys, who is nominated both for his work on the Apple TV comedy series Widow’s Bay and Netflix’s psychological thriller limited series The Beast in Me. Then there are the Fanning sisters, each nominated for splashy streaming shows—Dakota for Peacock’s All Her Fault, and Elle for the Apple TV comedy Margo’s Got Money Troubles.
HBO Max’s The Pitt enters into Emmys 2026 with a field-leading 25 nominations for its second season, followed closely behind by the final season of Hacks (24 nominations), the first run of Widow’s Bay (19 nominations), and Pluribus (18 nominations), as well as season two of Netflix’s anthology series Beef (16 nominations).
Despite the dominance of Beef across the limited-series categories, it was HBO’s DTF St. Louis—a show about searching, sexless married Midwesterners, starring Jason Bateman, David Harbour, and Linda Cardellini—with the strongest showing at the recent celebration, formerly known as the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The series picked up key limited-series victories, including outstanding writing and directing honors for Steven Conrad, plus Harbour’s and Cardellini’s respective wins for supporting actor and actress.
