The band will perform at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena in 2027

Scottish pop-rock legends Deacon Blue are heading to the M&S Bank Arena on Saturday, October 9, 2027 to mark four decades since the release of their debut album. The band will be performing Raintown live in its entirety from start to finish.
Fans can expect a set packed with a career-spanning selection of their greatest hits, including the iconic anthems “Dignity”, “Real Gone Kid”, “Chocolate Girl”, and “Fergus Sings the Blues”.
The band released their latest album, The Great Western Road, in March 2025, followed by a ‘Tour Edition’ in September and The Great Western Road Trip: A Live Album this June.
Lead vocalist Ricky Ross said: “When we made our first record none of us imagined there would be an audience still wanting to hear it played live forty years on.
“To recreate the songs and the atmosphere of that debut album will be a great joy for us. Although each night will feature Raintown as the first part of the concert, the second act will include songs from all our albums and we aim to make each night a unique experience.
“We are thrilled you are all still there to be part of another adventure and we are excited about coming to a city near you in 2027.”
