Gotts Street Park Link With Pip Millet On ‘Flowers’ | News

Gotts Street Park and Pip Millet combine on new single ‘Flowers’.

The soul crew are back, with their Leeds base becoming a superlative hub for the creation of forward thinking R&B adjacent songwriting.

New album ‘Somewhere Between’ is out on October 16th, and it features some phenomenal guests.

CLASH favourite Pip Millet joins the crew for new single ‘Flowers’, an ode to personal growth fuelled by a warming sense of soul.

Pip thrives on subtlety, and the arrangement lets her take control on a song that encapsulates a slow-burning sense of evolution.

The vocalist comments: “‘Flowers’ is about going through the bad to grow into something beautiful. It’s a reminder that the bad days won’t last forever.”

Gotts Street Park comment: “We originally wrote this in a studio called the Chairworks, just outside of Leeds. We were doing a session for Pip’s album and ended up with about four tunes. This one wasn’t as fleshed out – it was more of a stripped-back groove – but there was something so fun about playing it. We were playing the same section for about 20 or 30 minutes and just loved it. It just kept on wanting to be played.”

Tune in now.
