However, she recently caught fans’ attention after sharing photos in a sheer minidress. She also continued her streak of cryptic captions, this time writing about ‘death’ and ‘divinity.’
The Gimme More singer showed off her figure in a sheer dress in a since-deleted Instagram post. Spears’ dress featured black mesh and white lace detailing on its bodice. She left her chest uncovered beneath the sheer dress and added two red cross emojis to protect her modesty. She wore a visible thong layered under the mesh dress.
According to Blast, the 44-year-old, a few X users shared her since-deleted pictures. One of them mentioned that Spears wrote about Halloween in the caption. She mentioned, “What r u guys gonna be for Halloween… do vampires defy death n live forever divinity !!!!!!”
She accessorized the look with a lacy black choker and also posed with a book in some of the pictures. The Oops! I Did It Again singer had her red reading glasses on as she peeked from behind an open book.
Some X users also trolled her for the picture, with one writing, “Britney Spears PLEASE STOP. We all know you dont read.” Another user joked, “It’s a picture book.” A fan defended the singer among the critics, saying, “Leave Britney alone!!!!”
Meanwhile, Spears also gave her fans an update on her relationship status. She shared a clip in a backless white dress with a thigh-high slit. In the caption, the pop star revealed that she was no longer interested in dating. “Before dinner with friends and a blind date … I’m single as can be, I don’t want to date anyone honestly, no thank you.”
The Toxic singer mentioned that she is “pretty blessed” to have her friends who make her laugh. Spears last married Sam Asghari in 2022 after dating him for a few years. The couple was married for about 14 months before Asghari filed for divorce in August 2023.
Spears often makes headlines for her dance videos. However, not everyone praises her for doing so. She once confirmed that she is healing with the help of these videos.
According to People, the singer took to her Instagram handle to share a throwback picture from one of her performances. She mentioned that her dance videos could be embarrassing sometimes, yet she shares them. Spears wrote, “Interestingly enough, I dance on IG to heal things in my body that people have no idea about. Yup and it’s embarrassing sometimes… but I walked through the fire to save my life.”
The pop star further confirmed that she would never perform in the U.S. again “because of extremely sensitive reasons.” However, she may consider doing shows in the U.K. and Australia with her son. Spears wrote, “I hope to be sitting on a stool with a red rose in my hair, in a bun, performing with my son… in the UK and AUSTRALIA very soon. He’s a huge star, and I’m so humbled to be in his presence!!! Godspeed, little man!!!”
