Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw and actress, social media personality Akriti Agarwal have mutually decided to end their relationship, around six months after announcing their engagement. Agarwal confirmed the separation on September 17, citing different future goals and circumstances. She also requested privacy and asked people to avoid speculation about their personal decision.
Shaw and Agarwal announced their engagement on March 8, 2026, with the cricketer sharing romantic photographs from the occasion. Shaw described Agarwal as his “perfect innings” while announcing the milestone. Agarwal, a digital creator and actress, had previously been publicly associated with Shaw through social media appearances and events.
Prithvi Shaw has cleared his Insta profile and deleted all his posts involving Akriti Agarwal. The separation comes as Shaw continues his efforts to rebuild his cricket career. He made his India debut in 2018, scoring a century in his first Test against West Indies. His international career currently stands at five Tests, six ODIs and one T20I, with his last India appearance coming in 2021.
Shaw was bought by Delhi Capitals for ₹75 lakh in the 2026 IPL auction after initially going unsold. However, he did not feature in a match during the season.
