Kinder Bueno fans have just discovered the ‘best trick’ to eat the popular chocolate bar – and it’ll seriously elevate your tasty treat every single time you enjoy it
Kinder Bueno bars have graced supermarket shelves for 36 years, yet devoted fans are only just discovering the ‘best’ way to savour the beloved chocolate treat.
The hugely popular bar, produced by Italian confectionery giant Ferrero, consists of a hazelnut-cream-filled wafer coated in milk chocolate and finished with a dark chocolate drizzle. Launched in 1990 across 60 countries, the bar has become a firm favourite among chocolate enthusiasts worldwide. And the range has expanded well beyond the classic bar format, with shoppers now able to pick up an ice cream version, alongside white chocolate and Dairy Milk varieties – and a discontinued dark variety.
Now, devoted fans have been sharing their tips for making the indulgent treat taste even better – and all it requires is storing it in a particular spot in your home. TikTok user Raymond King shared the simple hack with his thousands of followers.
“Buy a white Kinder Bueno. Now, put in the freezer. Thank me later,” Raymond revealed in his clip.
Without elaborating further, fellow content creator GK posted his own video response, declaring: “I got it. Let’s freeze it. Let’s try it. Let’s rate it one to 10.”
He then popped the white chocolate Kinder Bueno bar into the freezer, before revealing it stayed there for several hours. “Listen, listen, listen,” GK told viewers. “If I’ve been scammed that it doesn’t taste any different, we’re gonna have some issues.”
As he proceeded to unwrap the bar, he added: “If this was pointless., if this is a waste of time, I’mma be very mad.”
Yet it appeared GK had little cause for concern, as he took a bite from the chilled chocolate bar and exclaimed: “Oh! Oh, my gosh!”
Continuing to eat the chocolate, he declared it ‘might be the new method’ for consuming a Kinder Bueno bar, noting the creamy filling within the wafer layer had solidified completely, producing a rich, cold centre.
So what was the final verdict? GK concluded: “Oh, that’s amazing. It’s actually amazing. 10 out of 10. For real.”
And he was far from alone in his enthusiasm, as the comments section quickly filled with fellow fans sharing their own experiences. One wrote: “Then there’s me putting all chocolates in the fridge and they still taste better than room temperature!”
Another added: “I put it in the fridge for 24h, tastes amazing.”
A third chimed in: “Frozen chocolate has always been better.” While a fourth suggested: “Every chocolate in the freezer, Lindt balls.”
