It’s time to take to the streets with a baseball bat and get rid of the Walkers as TRAILMARK Games and AMC Global Media announce the release of The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival on Steam for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. This new sideways-scrolling beat ’em up challenges players to punch, shoot and bash their way through 12 chaotic levels filled with Walkers and the merciless Saviours. The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival has been inspired by the All-Out War storyline from the TV series and tasks players with fighting their way through a single-player campaign as Rick, Daryl or Michonne against the merciless Saviours and relentless hordes of Walkers. Players can also take on the role of Negan and fight their way through the chaos using Lucille.
Players can perform devastating combos and finishers by using brutal melee attacks, ranged attacks, or a mix of the two. Each character also has their own iconic weapon, from Negan’s trusty baseball bat to Michonne’s katana.
Guide fan-favourite apocalypse survivors through iconic environments such as Sanctuary, Hilltop, and Alexandria against dangerous gangs of Saviours and creeping armies of Walkers. There are also deadly bosses to destroy, including Negan, Simon, the Well Walker and the spiked helmeted Winslow.
The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival features retro pixel-art visuals, intense, story-driven moments, and multiple difficulty levels, including an optional Easy Mode for casual play.
Purchase The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival from Steam for PC or the appropriate console store for £16.99, or the Deluxe Edition (which includes the Arcade Apocalypse Pack) for £29.99. The Arcade Apocalypse Pack (also available separately) features additional weapon and character skins, the digital game soundtrack, The Walker Pit endless survival mode, and the exclusive Hell On Earth Difficulty mode with no checkpoints. The physical copies of the Deluxe Edition will be released in October.
