It is now official that Prabhas’ Fauji will not arrive in theatres this year.
The film has been postponed from its December 3 release date, and a new release date is yet to be announced.
Mythri Movie Makers producer Ravi Shankar has confirmed the postponement.
Speaking at the pre-release event of Nani’s The Paradise today, he said that Fauji would arrive a little later and promised that the film would present Prabhas on a completely different level.
“The release of Fauji is being delayed a little. It is going to be a film on a different level. You have not seen Prabhas like this since Baahubali. We are pushing the release back a little, but we are going to give fans a film they will remember for a lifetime,” Ravi Shankar said.
Fauji is a historical action drama that is partly fictional and partly inspired by real incidents.
Hanu Raghavapudi is directing the film, while Imanvi is making her debut as the female lead.
