Netflix has debuted the first trailer for Ray Gunn, the upcoming animated sci-fi adventure from writer-director Brad Bird (The Incredibles, The Iron Giant).
Set in an alternate future 1939, the film follows private detective Raymond Gunn, one of the few remaining investigators who still solves a case the old-fashioned way, who finds himself pulled into a scandal involving controversial megastar Venus Nova.
Ray Gunn features the voice talents of Sam Rockwell, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Waits, Matt Berry, Bobby Cannavale, Alan Tudyk, Michael Chernus, Patton Oswalt, Kathryn Hunter, and Brad Bird. Watch the trailer below…
In Metropia, a gigantic city in an alternate future as seen from 1939, private eye Raymond Gunn (Sam Rockwell) is drawn into a case involving aliens, murder and a multimedia star named Venus Nova (Scarlett Johansson).
Ray Gunn arrives in select theatres on December 4th, before arriving on Netflix on December 18th.
