New York Comic Con is less than a month away, and now one major streamer’s plans for the event are coming into focus.
IGN can exclusively reveal that fan-favorite series Dexter: Resurrection, Avatar: Seven Havens, and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy will be part of the Paramount+ lineup when New York Comic Con returns October 8-11. At the event, con-goers can catch first looks, cast conversations, and exclusive reveals from all three series.
Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Panel
Thursday, October 8, 12:30-2:00pm ET
Main Stage
The cast and creative team behind Dexter: Resurrection will be on hand to celebrate the franchise’s landmark 20th anniversary and give an exclusive look at the upcoming second season. The panel will include Michael C. Hall, Uma Thurman, James Remar, Jack Alcott, Bokeem Woodbine and Krysten Ritter, as well as showrunner and executive producer Clyde Phillips and executive producers Scott Reynolds and Marcos Siega. The conversation will be moderated by Josh Horowitz.
Additionally, Paramount+ will be presenting a limited-time (October 9-11) immersive Dexter 20th Anniversary Museum Experience at Chelsea Industrial, which will feature iconic props, immersive recreations, interactive experiences, and photo moments spanning the franchise’s 20-year history.

Avatar: Seven Havens Panel

Fans of the Four Nations can unite for the ultimate celebration of Avatar: Seven Havens on the day it premieres. Featuring executive producers Michael Dante DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko, Ethan Spaulding, and Sehaj Sethi plus cast members Saheli Khan (“Pavi”), Aishu Devan (“Nisha”), and Major Curda (“Jae”), the panel will be moderated by original voice of Korra, Janet Varney, and will give fans in attendance an exclusive look at the making of the series along with news about what’s next for the Avatar Legends Universe.
Attendees will also be able to put their bending skills to the test at the Paramount+ booth, which will be Avatar Legends–themed and feature photo opportunities and swag, including exclusive footwear in collaboration with Reebok.
Meanwhile, Paramount Games will host a special Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game event at OS: NYC on Friday, October 9. The event will feature Avatar Legends activations, including a Four Nations Food Cart, a high-stakes Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game tournament with special prizes, giveaways and more.
Star Trek Universe Panel

The Paramount+ original series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy heads to NYCC for an exclusive sneak peek and conversation about the upcoming second season. Panelists include series star Holly Hunter, plus Sandro Rosta, Bella Shepard, Karim Diané, and Robert Picardo along with co-showrunners and executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau.
Additionally, the panel will celebrate Star Trek’s 60th anniversary and feature a special conversation with William Shatner, the legendary actor behind Captain James T. Kirk.
