Danielle Johnson kicked off the year with the release of MYTHS, an ambient album made with vintage synths, recorded live at the Vintage Synthesizer Museum. She returned last month with two new tracks that previewed a new Danz CM era. Now, she’s announcing her new LP, The Interdimensional Extraterrestrial Time Travelers Society.
“An album made for those living in a different dimension,” Johnson wrote on Instagram, adding that the record is four years in the making. It was written, produced, and recorded entirely in her home studio. “Animal” is a hypnotic adventure into the cosmos, whereas “The Captain” is a laid-back, funny tune: “Please don’t call the coast guard/ ‘Cause I’d rather be a castaway/ There’s a captain overboard/ I guess we’ll save his life today.” Dive in below.
