A major milestone has been reached in the re-opening of a historic pub near Nuneaton.
After years of waiting and campaign to save it, the Cock Inn at Sibson is due to re-open its doors in November.
This will follow a £480,000 make-over that is due to start early next month.

As part of the preparations for the grand re-opening, a hunt is now on to find staff to work at the pub, which is more than 800-years-old and was once a haunt of notorious highwayman Dick Turpin.
Among the jobs up for grabs include:
- Sous Chef — £34,000–£36,000
- CDP / Pizza Chef — £15–£16 per hour
- Commis Chef — £13.50 per hour
- Kitchen Porter — National Living Wage
Roles of general manager, assistant manager, duty manager as well as bar staff, waiting staff and cleaner are also available.
“We’re looking for people who take pride in what they do, care about hospitality and want to be part of something exciting from the very beginning,” the pub said.
