Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger, the Steven Knight masterminded, Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace directed documentary about Noel and Liam Gallagher’s historic 2025 reunion tour has locked in an October 9 Disney+ streaming release date. And, what’s more, it’s bringing some never-before-seen footage of the Burnage boys’ comeback with it. Check out the announcement teaser below;
Having arrived in cinemas as definitely, maybe the best concert movie of the decade so far, Don’t Look Back In Anger‘s streaming release looks to affirm the old adage about never having too much of a good thing. Per Disney+’s press release for the doc’s streaming drop, the streamer will “host never-before-seen footage that includes material from the joint interview with Liam and Noel Gallagher, and full performances of songs “Wonderwall” and “Slide Away”.” On top of more from the Gallaghers’ first on-screen interview together in over two decades, Don’t Look Back In Anger‘s Disney+ release will also contain performances of “D’You Know What I Mean?” and “Half The World Away” that were previously not included in the film’s cinema release.
At a time where concert movies from the likes of Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Beyoncé and more have all seen fans clamouring for a chance to relive the experience of seeing their favourite artists perform live, Don’t Look Back In Anger — as much a celebration of Oasis fans as the band themselves and their music — has proven an unlikely feel-good hit with cinemagoers.
