Lady Victoria Beckham has made a return to music after joining her son Cruz in a recording studio.
A picture of the pair was published on Monday by the 21-year-old artist, who performs with the band The Breakers.
In the image, Lady Victoria stands near a microphone while looking at her phone. Positioned in the corner wearing white-framed sunglasses, Cruz can be seen smirking towards the camera.
Accompanying the photo uploaded to Instagram, he wrote: “Yeah we got posh back in the studio.”
Cruz, the Beckhams’ third child and youngest son, went on to sign with a new management company and relaunched his band in 2025 with the single “Optics”, before performing a series of intimate gigs earlier this year. Later this month, he’ll play at Reading and Leeds festival. His debut EP, Wear & Tear, arrived last month.
Reviewing one of Cruz’s London dates in March, The Independent’s music editor Roisin O’Connor wrote: “Is he any good? Certainly, he’s an adept guitar player and clearly has a genuine enthusiasm for music.
“He’s in a tricky predicament: cynics will argue the only reason he gets any press is because of his name, but then, wouldn’t any other band get the breathing space to hone their craft, with at least a couple of years playing live shows before being thrust into the spotlight? He can’t win.”
The gig was attended by both David and Victoria Beckham, who had a tumultuous start to the year following claims their eldest son Brooklyn made in a bombshell-packed Instagram post.
Brooklyn – who has bounced around career-wise, dabbling in everything from photography to cookery – said he was no longer on speaking terms with his parents in January.
Cruz is following his mother’s path into the industry; she first rose to fame with the Spice Girls. The group achieved global stardom following the launch of debut single Wannabe in 1996, which reached its 30th anniversary this year.
The award-winning act generated hits including “Stop”, “2 Become 1”, “Who Do You Think You Are?” and “Viva Forever”, securing nine UK number one singles and two chart-topping albums.
Lady Victoria pursued a brief solo career with a self-titled album in 2001, later reuniting with her bandmates for a 2007 tour and the 2012 London Summer Olympics. Her focus has since shifted to fashion and beauty.
