After all, Johnson’s own manicurist, Ashlie Johnson, previously told Allure that bright reds with a slightly orange undertone (also known as tomato red) can bring life to a manicure. “Unlike reds with blue undertones, which can make veins stand out, these are very flattering,” she told the publication.
